As one of the founding designers for ANZ Plus, I was tasked with designing an all-new card experience. The result is a Card screen where people can activate, control, track activity and even re-order cards— with room to grow for future card features.

The Card Screen
Initially, the Card screen had a handful of controls. After rounds of rapid iteration through customer research, the result is a design that balances prominence for frequently-used controls and new card features.
Card Tracking
A clear and discrete way to track card delivery increased trust and transparency. As a result, this shortened the time between account creation and the first card transaction from weeks to days.
Card Activation
The camera frame was designed to include affordance that matches the debit card's accessibility notch, helping people orient the card onscreen. Scanning combined a multi-step input into a single action.
Card Controls
Advanced security controls appear contextually, and can be managed with a few simple toggles.
Digital Details
Card details have been viewed, cumulatively, over a billion times by ANZ Plus customers.

To prepare for the customer and business needs of the bank, the Card screen was designed to scale deep (features) and laterally (products, and other types of cards).
